Kerrville - Jeanette E. "Jeanie" Bell, 68, of Kerrville, Texas commended her soul to the Lord on November 22, 2008. Jeanie was born April 14, 1940 in San Antonio, TX to Arthur and Cecilia Kleypas. She married J. D. Bell on October 6, 1972 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in San Antonio where they remained active in the church community for years. She worked for the Kwik Wash Laundry regional office where she took pride in her bookkeeping and secretarial abilities. She was strongly devoted to her Catholic faith, prayed, and read her Bible daily. She was a beautiful lady who was an excellent wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, J.D. Bell; daughter, Lisa Icke and husband Mike of Sunrise Beach; son, Joey Klein and wife Sandi of Humble; daughter, Loretta Hoadley and husband Jerry of San Antonio; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann Petray and husband Tom of San Antonio, Marcella Schaeffer of San Antonio, Patsy Ackeroyd of Atascosa, Dorothy Richardson and husband Dalvin of Austin, and Melbonne Schattuck and husband Burt of Flagstaff, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 6:00 PM, Monday with visitation to follow at Kerrville Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
